61. மாயையை வெல்ல
நாயேனையும் இங்கு ஒரு பொருளாக நயந்து வந்து,
TO OVERCOME MAYAநாயேனையும் இங்கு ஒரு பொருளாக நயந்து வந்து,
நீயே நினைவின்றி ஆண்டு கொண்டாய், நின்னை உள்ளவண்ணம்
பேயேன் அறியும் அறிவு தந்தாய், என்ன பேறு பெற்றேன்.--
தாயே, மலைமகளே, செங்கண் மால் திருத் தங்கைச்சியே.
தாயே! மலையரசர் மகளே! சிவந்த கண்களையுடைய திருமாலின் தங்கையே! நாயாகவுள்ள என்னையும் இங்கே ஒரு பொருட்டாக மதித்து, நீயே, தன்னை மறந்து ஆட்கொண்டு விட்டாய்! அது மட்டுமல்லாமல், உன்னையே உள்ளபடியே அறிந்து கொள்ளும் அறிவையும் பேயேனாகிய எனக்குத் தந்தாய். நான் பெறுதற்கரிய பேறல்லவோ பெற்றேன்!
Naayenaiyum ingu oru porulaaga nayandhu vandhu,
neeye ninaivinri aandu kondaay; ninnai ullavannam
peyen ariyum arivu thandhaay; enna peru perren!-
thaaye, malaimagale, sengan maal thiruth thangaichchiye.
Oh! Divine mother! You are the loving daughter of the Parvatharaja, ruler of the Mountain (Himalayas) younger sister of Thirumal (Vishnu) whose eyes are reddish. You have taken into your fold and bless a dog like me who is also a simpleton without entertaining and ill feeling. How lucky I am!
